I’m not one to run to be honest. Before I started the ultimate body challenge more than a year ago, I couldn’t run for 10 minutes without taking many, many walking breaks. After doing cardio-kickboxing for so long, my endurance has really increased and now I don’t find running to be such a pain. Now I can actually enjoy it and run a decent distance without feeling like I’m going to faint.
This past Sunday, my husband and I went running by the Gulf of Mexico at Treasure Island. If you live in the St. Pete – Clearwater area, there is a nice trail along this beach perfect for running. I’m going to challenge myself to try to run this path (or those similar to it) once a week. This weekend the motivation came easily because we had just had two solid days of rain. Both of us were eager to get outdoors and do ANYTHING.
We saw some cute tourist sites along the way.
