I haven’t given up my goal of running two times a week yet. The beautiful weather here in Florida makes the running a little easier. I’m finding that I need to stretch a lot after running. My calves in particular feel on fire during the runs. Unlike a year ago, however, I am able to run continuously without feeling out of breath (thank you kickboxing).
I ran 2.36 miles and had an average mile time of 9:16. This was a little longer because I did stop to stretch my calves a few times. I am attempting to reduce my recovery time between runs. I’ll let you know how I feel after today’s run tomorrow! ; )
