Thank you for this. I fell off the bandwagon for running twice a week already. (It wasn’t my fault entirely — I got injured playing in the ocean this weekend.) I’m dedicated though and plan to return to form soon.

Just a brief post today. A tip for those trying the fasting thing like myself. If you’re craving something sweet try chewing a fruity piece of gum. Some say it should be sugarless. Life’s too short for that in my opinion. Splurge on the 10 calorie stick if you want. 🙂

On my fasting days, I’m fasting from about 8 p.m. to lunch time which is about 11 a.m. By 11 I am very ready to eat something. I hopefully won’t be doing this too much longer. Tea in the mornings isn’t going to cut it for too long. I’ll post my measurements here soon to let you know if it’s working. I fell off the bandwagon into several slices of pizza this weekend. I’ll try to do better this week.


I can write motivational blogs all day long. I can share my story and encourage you to go for it. But the choice is yours.

You are the only one that can make it happen. You don’t need a Monday. You don’t need more time. You don’t need someone else’s motivation. No amount of wishing or dreaming will get it done. You have to make it happen.

Start right now making better choices. Eat healthier foods and get some exercise in. If you stick with it, you will see a change. You have to make it happen. You are capable. Take the steps to do so. And #lovethejourney
